I wrote a book! It was published March 2023 with 404 Ink, and is part of their Inklings project, an ongoing series of non-fiction books exploring big ideas in pocket-sized form.

BFFs examines female friendship as a site of radical intimacy, as told through the cultural touchstones around us. From Elena Ferrante to Booksmart, Little Women to Insecure, and beyond, the book considers how female friendships can offer a more expansive and emancipatory understanding of female intimacy. It was covered in i-D, Stylist, HuffPost, BBC Radio Scotland, The Skinny, and EHFM’s Culture Show. Alongside the book, I curated two film programmes exploring female friendship at The Cameo Edinburgh and Glasgow Film Theatre.
